So excited to share this invitation (and a few pictures from their big day!) from Ashley and Race. She knew she wanted something original for their wedding. Something specific to them and the place they were getting married, which was Race’s grandparents’ family farm, which was special in itself. The knew they wanted to say their I Do’s under the big tree on the farm, as the sun was setting. She also knew she was going to use sunflowers, and the bridesmaids would have navy blue dresses. Keeping all of this in mind, Ashely and I passed ideas back and forth until we hit something she really liked.
Here is their personal invitation for their personal wedding day…
We took her blue and navy color scheme and created an ombre sunset as the backdrop, then let the paper show through for the tree silhouette, showing a preview of what guests should expect for the setting. As you can see, we paired her invitations, printed on ivory linen paper, with pointed-flap navy envelopes.

Instead of rented chairs, they used square hay bails with quilts overtop for guests to sit. What fun for an outdoor summer wedding?!
And how romantic to be driven away in a horse and carriage (or buggy as we like to call in the South)!
